Men who have transient high blood sugar usually show no symptoms. If it is diabetes mellitus, there may be symptoms such as drinking more, urinating more, eating more and losing weight. Some diabetic patients may not have obvious symptoms, need to be based on the relevant examination to determine whether it is diabetes.
There are two types of high blood sugar, one is transient hyperglycemia and the other is diabetes. If only a transient high blood sugar, usually surgery, trauma, infection and other circumstances lead to elevated blood sugar, this group of people generally have no special symptoms.
If diabetes causes high blood sugar in men, patients will appear diabetes “three more and one less” symptoms, namely more drinking, more urination, more food, weight loss. Some patients may also experience symptoms such as fatigue and vision changes.
Diabetes mellitus can be diagnosed if any one of the three symptoms of diabetes mellitus is met, i.e., fasting blood glucose of 7 ≥ mmol/l, 2-hour postprandial blood glucose of ≥ 11.1 mmol/l, random blood glucose of ≥ 11.1 mmol/l, or glycosylated hemoglobin of ≥ 6.5%.
Some diabetic patients may have no obvious symptoms, if there are no diabetic symptoms, two times plasma glucose reaches the above standard to confirm the diagnosis.
