Is HPV33 positive serious?

Whether HPV33 is serious or not depends on whether the virus has invaded the cervix and caused cervical lesions. HPV33, also known as human papillomavirus type 33, may invade the cervix and cause precancerous lesions or even cervical cancer, which is more serious. If the cervical lesion is detected by TCT, colposcopy and biopsy of the cervical tissues should be done to confirm the diagnosis, and cervical conization surgery should be done to remove and cure the lesion. If the TCT test is normal, it is not serious, and the HPV virus can be treated with medicine, and the virus can basically disappear after three to six months of interferon application.
