What does PG-positive mean?

PG positive has two meanings: one means positive penicillin skin test and the other means positive pepsinogen. A positive penicillin skin test indicates that the human body has an allergic reaction to penicillin at the test site during the penicillin skin sensitivity test, with a local elevation of the dermatome, a hard lump with a diameter greater than 1 cm, a red halo, and an itchy sensation around it, indicating that the test subject will be allergic to penicillin and the use of penicillin on this person should be prohibited. Positive pepsinogen indicates that the human body suffers from superficial gastritis and gastric ulcer. Pepsinogen will be converted into pepsin by the action of gastric acid and active pepsin, and when the stomach is damaged there will be an increase in gastric acid and pepsinogen will also increase, resulting in a positive pepsin.
