At this time, the estrogen in the body has the least effect on the breast and the disease is the easiest to detect. The method of breast self-examination: – 1. Look at both hands naturally down in front of the mirror, carefully observe whether the size of both sides of the breast is symmetrical, whether there are abnormal protrusions, epidermal depressions or bulges, flaking, redness, wrinkles, etc., and then pay attention to whether the nipples have secretions, deformation or erosion, depressions. Then place your hands on your waist, lean your upper body forward, press your shoulders and elbows slightly forward, and observe whether there are any abnormalities in the breast in the mirror. 2. Raise both hands and press them slightly forward to see if there is any abnormality in the shape and contour of the breast in the mirror. 3. Raise your arm, put your fingers together with your left hand and examine your right breast carefully, using the belly of your fingers to gently press the breast to feel if there is a lump. In addition, pay special attention to the outer upper 1/4 of the breast and the armpit to feel for any unusual subcutaneous lumps. At the same time, gently squeeze the nipple and note any discharge. After checking the right breast, then check the left breast. It is more convenient to check in the shower. 4. Lie down flat on your back with a small pillow or bath towel behind your right shoulder, as the shoulder pad is high, the center of gravity of the breast will move inward, making the breast flat and easy to examine. With your left fingertips together, look at your breasts as a circle centered on your nipples and press them in a circle from the outside to the inside to check, then gently squeeze the nipples and notice if there is any discharge.
