Symptoms of shingles when it’s almost over

Herpes zoster is mainly characterized by pain and rash, and when it gets better quickly, the pain decreases and the rash subsides. 1. Pain reduction: neuralgia is one of the characteristics of herpes zoster, the pain can be dull, twitching pain, throbbing pain, often accompanied by a burning sensation. When herpes zoster is almost well, the patient’s pain will be reduced or disappear, at the same time the original burning sensation will also be relieved or disappear. 2. Rash recession: the rash of herpes zoster is manifested as erythema, papules, blisters and so on. When herpes zoster is almost well, the original erythema and papules will subside, the blisters will dry up, and localized scabs may appear. However, care should be taken not to tear off the scabbed area, so as not to affect the healing, leaving behind residual neuralgia.
