How long can you live with stage 3 cancer?

There are very many classifications of cancer, and cancer may occur in different parts of the body; therefore, the clinical manifestations and prognosis of different types of cancer stage III are different. There are some types of cancers, such as papillary thyroid cancer, which may be able to achieve cure, or long-term survival, through radical surgery even in the middle and late stages. There are some stage III tumors, gastrointestinal tumors or breast tumors, which may have the chance of radical surgery through adjuvant radiation and chemotherapy, in which case, they can also survive for a longer period of time. However, tumors with higher malignancy, such as pancreatic and liver tumors, may be in the middle and late stages without the chance of radical surgery, but they are also insensitive to other anti-tumor treatment measures such as radiotherapy and chemotherapy, and generally do not have a long survival time. For example, the median survival period for pancreatic tumors is about six months, and the fast one may be only three months. Like liver malignant tumors, generally speaking, they can only survive for six months to one year.
