What is ecc check

ECC refers to cervical canal scratching, an operation needed mainly to treat cervical pregnancy or suspected lesions in the cervical canal. Cervical cancer can be classified into exogenous and endogenous types according to the location of its development. The so-called exophytic type is an exophytic cauliflower-shaped swelling that can be seen by the naked eye during gynecological examination and can be biopsied under direct vision to obtain pathology. The endophytic type is a cervical swelling, thickening, and barrel-like, with no obvious lesions, which requires an ecc test to determine if there are lesions in the cervical canal. The main purpose of cervical curettage is to obtain pathology, which will determine the nature of the lesion and the subsequent treatment based on the pathology results.
