Foreign body swallowing in children is relatively common in life, and a plan should be developed according to the specific circumstances of the swallowed foreign body. 1. Swallowing toxic substances. Prompt medical attention is needed, as soon as possible to induce vomiting, gastric lavage, diarrhea and enema to eliminate the poison.
2. Swallowed batteries. Seek medical attention as soon as possible. You may choose to remove the battery through esophagoscopy or gastroscopy.
3. Swallowing non-sharp toys.
