How to treat severe malnutrition

Once a diagnosis of severe malnutrition is made, it is important to visit the nutrition department of a hospital and have a professional nutritionist make an individualized treatment plan. A professional nutritionist can make a comprehensive treatment plan based on the results of blood and biochemical tests, such as ultrasound, colonoscopy, gastroscopy, and other tests, such as CT, combined with body composition analysis. This includes simple dietary guidance, or three meals a day plus enteral nutrition supplements or complete enteral nutrition preparations, as well as combined parenteral nutrition preparations.
