What are the causes of nosebleeds?

Common causes of nosebleeds include intranasal injuries, nasal disorders, hypertension, leukemia and so on.
1. Intra-nasal injury: nose picking, blowing the nose with force, sneezing and improper use of medication in the nose can damage the nasal mucosa blood vessels rupture and bleeding.
2. Nasal diseases: such as acute rhinitis, acute sinusitis, dry rhinitis, deviated nasal septum, nasal hemangioma and malignant tumor of nasal cavity and sinus, all of them are easy to lead to the symptoms of nasal bleeding.
3. Hypertension: Nosebleeds are caused by elevated arterial pressure. Before bleeding, there are often omens, such as dizziness, headache, and sense of impact of blood in the nose. Often unilateral, arterial bleeding, fierce, mostly located in the back of the nasal cavity (lower nasal passage, olfactory fissure), for pulsatile bleeding.
4. Leukemia: As the bleeding is caused by the change of blood composition, the nosebleed is mostly bilateral, persistent oozing of blood, and can occur repeatedly, often accompanied by bleeding from other parts of the body.
