Turbinaria is a traditional Chinese medicine, this product has the efficacy of dispelling wind and removing dampness, activating blood circulation and relieving pain, and has a therapeutic effect on rheumatism paralysis and pain, and contracture of the tendons and bones. It can be used externally to treat sores and swellings. The adverse effects of Turbinaria are not clear, and pregnant women should not take it.
Clinically, it is usually not used as a single medicine, often combined with windbreak, atractylodes, cypress, used for rheumatic arthralgia; with the preparation of Chuanwu, extensible grass combined with decoction, used for musculoskeletal contracture, and so on.
