Is LDL 1.99 a serious problem?

LDL 1.99mmol/L is within the normal range and does not meet the diagnostic criteria for hyperlipidemia, regular rechecking of blood lipids is sufficient.
LDL is one of the criteria for the diagnosis of hyperlipidemia. According to the latest guidelines for the prevention and treatment of dyslipidemia, LDL cholesterol ≥4.1mmol/L meets the diagnostic criteria for hyperlipidemia, while LDL 1.99mmol/L is within the normal range.
In the present case, there is no need to be overly nervous, and the blood lipids can be monitored by regular review.
In addition to LDL level, total cholesterol, triglyceride and HDL level should also be monitored for dyslipidemia. Normally, we should pay attention to low-salt, low-fat and light diet, appropriate exercise, and regular rechecking of blood lipids.
