Female pseudohermaphroditism is mainly characterized by a localized masculinization of the external genitalia, with a marked enlargement of the clitoris and a scrotum that resembles the male scrotum, in which the testicles are not present. Female pseudohermaphroditism is a hereditary disease with easily detectable physical symptoms. The female reproductive system has some degree of abnormalities, including the uterus, ovaries, fallopian tubes, cervix, and vagina. In order to effectively restore normal physiological functions, surgical correction of the deformed reproductive system is required for women with obvious abnormalities in the reproductive system.
