There are no clinical studies stating that it is okay to judge the back of the head a few days after a fall. The patient should be actively observed after the fall and is advised to go to the hospital in time for examination. After a fall on the back of the head should be observed for headache, drowsiness, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, memory impairment and other symptoms. CT examination of the head should be carried out promptly after the head fall to observe whether there is bleeding, hematoma, contusion and so on. If there is no abnormality after CT examination and observation for 24 hours, patients can go home to rest, have a light diet, ensure sufficient sleep, and continue to observe their symptoms, which in a few cases may include delayed hemorrhage or epidural hematoma. At the same time, pay attention to protect yourself to avoid falling again because of dizziness, etc., which may cause secondary injury.
