The contraindications to chest compressions are as follows: 1. rib fractures, if there is a traumatic rib fracture, continuing chest compressions may displace the fracture end. If the fracture is traumatic, continued chest compressions may displace the fracture end, which may cause injury to organs in the chest cavity, such as the heart and lungs. 2, heart injury, if there is a heart rupture or heart blockage, continued chest compressions may make the original injury to the heart more serious. Usually this situation must be emergency chest opening to do intra-thoracic cardiac compressions and treatment of the original disease. 3, lung injury and traumatic hemopneumothorax, if these cases continue to do chest cardiac compressions, it will make the original lung injury and hemopneumothorax worse, which is not conducive to recovery. In addition, if it is a patient with advanced malignant tumor or multi-organ failure, there is no point in doing chest cardiac compressions only to increase the injury, and it is generally not recommended.
