The Hand Sun Small Intestine Meridian begins at the lateral end of the little finger (Shaosawa point), runs along the lateral side of the arm to the wrist, straight up the back edge of the forearm between the ulna and the medial condyle of the humerus, along the back edge of the upper arm, out behind the shoulder joint, around the scapula, meets at the large vertebrae point on the shoulder, down into the notochordal basin, deepens into the body cavity, connects with the heart, runs along the esophagus and reaches the stomach, which is a part of the Small Intestine.
Diseases occurring in this meridian mainly manifest as sore throat, swollen jaws, deafness, yellow eyes and pain in the shoulder and the back inner side of the upper limbs where this meridian passes through. Abdominal distension and vexation do not usually occur.
