Successful resection of a 9 kg intra-abdominal liposarcoma on May 18, 2013. Female patient, 64 years old. Underwent abdominal tumor resection in our hospital in September 2009 due to abdominal tumor. Postoperative pathology (20090922 pathology number 096086) diagnosed: highly differentiated liposarcoma (abdominopelvic cavity). CT examination (2013.08.02 CT92716) showed a postoperative liposarcoma, a large abdominopelvic mass of 40x30cm, and recurrence was considered. Intraoperatively, the tumor was seen to originate from the right retroperitoneal adipose tissue. Postoperative pathology (20130826 pathology 1306664) diagnosed: abdominopelvic tumor 38x30x18cm with intact envelope, (abdominopelvic) highly differentiated liposarcoma, and additionally (omental tumor) liposarcoma. It is a dedifferentiated liposarcoma. (Large omentum) pleomorphic liposarcoma.
