Hard lumps under the skin of the vulva without pain or itching may be caused by vulvar cysts, syphilis, vestibular cysts and other diseases.
1. Vulvar cysts: this disease is mainly related to the blockage of vulvar secretion gland ducts, abnormal development of vulvar local tissues and surgical trauma. Generally, when the cyst is small, there is no obvious symptom, if the size of the cyst increases gradually, the painless lump can be touched locally, and there is no itchy symptom.
2. Syphilis: this disease is caused by syphilis spirochete infection, which can be transmitted through blood, mother and child, sexual contact and other ways. The patient’s subcutaneous hard lumps on the vulva are painless and itchy, and are mostly considered to be first-stage syphilis, which is a manifestation of the hard chancre. Usually, female patients have erythema with painless ulcers on the labia, perineum, uterine opening, etc., and there are also symptoms of swollen lymph nodes.
3. Vestibular cysts: The causes of this disease include congenital glandular stenosis, vestibulitis, perineal injury and so on. Usually when there is no infection, the patient has no self-conscious symptoms, only manifested as vulvar subcutaneous hard lumps without pain or itching.
There are many reasons for the painlessness of subcutaneous vulvar lumps, and patients need to go to the hospital to get a clear picture of the cause of the disease and standardize the treatment.
