Morphine shots, maximum number of shots a day for cancer patients

The maximum dose of morphine shots, i.e. morphine hydrochloride injections, is 60mg a day, i.e. up to 6 shots a day of 10mg/shot of morphine. The medication should be administered as prescribed by the doctor.
Morphine Hydrochloride Injection has powerful analgesic, antitussive and sedative effects. It can be used for acute sharp pain where other analgesic drugs are ineffective, such as pain from severe trauma, burns, battle wounds, advanced cancer, etc. It is not suitable for long-term use in people with chronic severe cancer pain.
The maximum amount of this drug for subcutaneous injection is 60mg a day.The usual amount for intravenous injection in adults for analgesia is 5 to 10mg; for people with severe cancer pain, the range of the first dose is larger, and the first dose is given 3 to 6 times a day to prevent the onset of cancer pain and to provide adequate relief of cancer pain.
Adverse reactions to this product may include drug resistance, dependence, addiction, respiratory depression, drowsiness, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, dysuria, constipation, and biliary colic. This product is contraindicated in bronchial asthma, respiratory depression, craniocerebral injury, increased intracranial pressure, pulmonary heart disease compensation disorder. The medication should be standardized under the guidance of a doctor.
