Irbesartan or timosartan for young people

Young people without other comorbidities are more recommended to take timosartan. Irbesartan and timosartan are both used in the treatment of hypertension, both belong to the angiotensin receptor inhibitors, while clinically Irbesartan is more often used in hypertension combined with type II diabetic nephropathy, and Irbesartan’s adverse reactions are more than timosartan. Adverse effects of Irbesartan are seen in postural vertigo, postural hypotension, skeletal muscle pain, hyperkalemia, abnormal liver function, hepatitis, tinnitus, and headache. Adverse reactions to telmisartan are seen in upper respiratory tract infections, back pain, sinusitis, pharyngitis, diarrhea, and flu symptoms. Irbesartan contraindications are known hypersensitivity to the components of the product, 4th to 9th month of pregnancy, breastfeeding. Timosartan is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to the active ingredient of the product and any of the excipient components, in the middle and end of pregnancy and lactation, biliary obstructive diseases, severe hepatic and renal insufficiency. The above drugs need to be taken under the guidance of a professional physician.
