Do you need annual review after hysterectomy?

Annual review of TCT and HPV, and even gynecologic ultrasound, is still required after hysterectomy. It is unrealistic not to screen for cervical cancer because hysterectomy does not mean that malignant tumors of the cervix will not develop. Therefore, annual swabbing of vaginal cells is needed to determine whether there are vaginal cancers or other cellular tumors or cancers that can be ruled out by early cancer screening. The reason for ultrasound is to determine whether there is inflammatory exudate in the pelvic cavity or whether there are localized adhesive encapsulated masses, and also to perform a health checkup, which can be done relatively according to your condition.
