What are the main routes of transmission of HIV infection

The main means of transmission of HIV infection is through sexual contact. Sexual contact is the most important mode of transmission of AIDS in our country, with more than 90 per cent of people infected with HIV through sexual contact each year, and the number is increasing year by year. HIV is found in blood, semen or vaginal secretions. Each milliliter of semen contains 100,000 to 10 million HIV. Adolescent students are sexually active, have frequent sexual contact, and sexual contact infections include homosexual, heterosexual, and bisexual contact, coupled with youth, lack of sexual knowledge, and lack of awareness of necessary protection and isolation, sexual friction can cause minor damage to the genitals, and the virus can invade the body through sexual friction. It leads to AIDS infection. If you have high-risk sexual contact with an AIDS patient, it is recommended that you use AIDS blocking drugs in a timely manner when available. If the optimal time for interruption has passed, it is recommended to go to the hospital for an AIDS test to determine whether or not you are infected and to follow up under a doctor’s supervision.
