What to do if your newborn’s testicles don’t descend

For newborns whose testicles have not descended, they can wait for observation and surgical treatment as follows: 1. Waiting for observation: If the newborn belongs to preterm babies, most of them are due to the inguinal sheaths are not developed too well, thus causing the testicles have not completely descended, they can wait for observation, and as they get older, they will gradually descend to the inside of the scrotum; 2. Surgery: If the testicles are delayed in descending, especially not descended by the age of one year, and there is a change of the color of the testicles or inlaid testes, they should be surgically treated in time, or else it will lead to necrosis of testes, infertility, and affecting the marriage, birth of children and other important physiological functions.
