Is the location of the bowel cancer pain point fixed

In the early stage of bowel cancer, abdominal pain is mostly in an irregular position, and when it causes acute intestinal obstruction or intestinal perforation, the pain is obvious and the position is relatively fixed. At the early stage of bowel cancer, patients do not have obvious specific symptoms, and may have non-specific gastrointestinal symptoms such as abdominal distension, constipation, diarrhea, abdominal discomfort, change of stool characteristics, or only persistent abdominal pain, which is inconspicuous and not fixed in location, and thus is often neglected. When the intestinal cancer further progresses and causes acute intestinal obstruction, patients will have obvious severe abdominal pain, mostly paroxysmal colic, with relatively clear location, or diffuse total abdominal pain. If the tumor breaks through the intestinal wall and causes intestinal perforation, a local mass can also be formed, the location of pain is definite, the pressure pain is obvious on palpation, and the abdominal mass can be touched. For patients who are suspected of having intestinal cancer and suffer from unexplained abdominal pain, it is recommended to go to the hospital as soon as possible to improve the relevant examinations such as colonoscopy, and then standardize and rationalize the treatments after finding out the causes in a timely manner.
