Damp-heat body women can take medication to regulate, adjust the lifestyle to assist in regulating, and so on.
1. Take medication: commonly used drugs are heat-clearing and dampness-eliminating granules, gentian liver pills and so on.
Heat-clearing and dampness-eliminating granules are composed of Radix Codonopsis pilosulae, Radix et Rhizoma Pinelliae, Radix et Rhizoma Gangmai, Radix Astragali, Radix Astragali, Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae, Rhizoma Chrysanthemum, and Pericarpium Citriodora. It has the effects of clearing heat and dampness, benefiting qi and generating fluid (promoting the production of fluid by tonifying qi). It is used for treating fatigue of limbs, loss of appetite, body heat and dry mouth caused by summer dampness. Not recommended for diabetic patients.
Gentian and Liver Pill is composed of gentian, chaihu, scutellaria baicalensis, gardenia (fried), zejia, mouton, psyllium (salt fried). It is used for dizziness and redness of the eyes, tinnitus and deafness caused by damp-heat of the liver and gallbladder, dystocia and bitterness of the mouth (pain in the area of dystocia and ribs, and bitterness of the mouth), redness of urine, and wet-heat leucorrhea. It should not be taken for a long time by people with weak spleen and stomach, and should be used with caution by pregnant women and people with stomach cold.
2. Lifestyle adjustment: Eat more light and easy-to-digest food, less fat, sweet and thick-flavored food, such as desserts, chili peppers and so on. Learn to release pressure reasonably, to avoid excessive emotional fluctuations, overthinking, and so on. Ensure regular work and rest, avoid overwork and late nights, and exercise appropriately.
Seek medical advice if you feel unwell. Taking the above medications requires a doctor’s guidance.
