Fear of wind and cold in summer is mostly considered to be caused by yang deficiency. Chinese medicine believes that under normal circumstances, yang qi has the role of warming the body, if the body’s yang qi because of some reasons for partial deficiency, will lead to the body’s yang qi deficit, its warming, promote the role of the decline, the emergence of fear of cold limbs as the main manifestation of the cold symptoms. It may be accompanied by symptoms of qi deficiency such as mental fatigue (lack of energy) and shortness of breath. If there are symptoms of Yang deficiency, Yang tonifying drugs can be used to treat the disease, such as cinnamon, Radix et Rhizoma Polygoni Multiflori, Cistanches, Dry Ginger, etc. The disease can also be treated by taking Jin Gui Kidney Qi Pills and Yu Gui Pills as prescribed by the doctor.
