Coarse breath sounds in the lungs are a sign of bronchitis, including acute bronchitis, chronic bronchitis, bronchiectasis, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Because the breath sounds of both lungs in normal lungs are relatively clear and without any murmur, once the breath sounds are coarse most often indicate that the bronchi and lung tissue may have some inflammatory changes, such as coughing, coughing, wheezing, chest tightness, shortness of breath, etc., which is an important indication of lung auscultation. If the breath sounds in the lungs are coarse it is recommended that the patient have a chest X-ray and, if necessary, a chest CT examination to further clarify the presence of inflammatory changes in the bronchi and lung tissues so that further anti-infection treatment can be given. Other diseases such as tuberculosis, tumors and other specific diseases can also be ruled out.
