Shoulder pain can be caused by more reasons, the more common are the following diseases frozen shoulder, rotator cuff injury and other diseases.
1. Frozen shoulder: it is a relatively common disease of shoulder joint, due to degenerative changes of shoulder tissues with aging of human body, the stress on external forces, bearing capacity will gradually weaken with aging, prolonged chronic strain, or the shoulder for a long time in a poor posture or attitude, resulting in aseptic inflammation and fibrosis around the local manifestations.
Patients may show pain around the lateral shoulder joint, limitation of activities, stiffness of the shoulder joint, difficulty in making movements to raise the arm, or pain when rotating the shoulder, and so on.
2. Rotator cuff injury: it is also a common shoulder joint disease, rotator cuff is a series of tendon tissues covering the front and back of the shoulder joint, due to acute injury, chronic overuse or gradual aging of the shoulder, the muscles and ligaments connecting to the muscles may be damaged, resulting in obvious pain and dysfunction of the shoulder joint.
The active movement of the shoulder joint is limited, accompanied by weak periapical muscles and muscle atrophy, and this condition is mostly seen in middle-aged and elderly people.
