Running water in the ear but no odor may be caused by diseases such as external ear eczema, purulent otitis media, and cerebrospinal fluid nasal leakage.
1. Eczema of the outer ear: the etiology of eczema of the outer ear is not yet clear, may be due to allergies, bad ear digging habits and other factors. Patients will have small blisters, and when the blisters burst, yellow watery secretions may appear, and patients may show that their ears are running but have no odor.

When patients with suppurative otitis media, there is a perforation of the tympanic membrane, it can be manifested as running water in the ear canal, and some of the patients have no odor from the running water.
