To see the lymph nodes, you can register for general surgery, hematology or medical oncology. The swelling of lymph nodes may be caused by inflammatory infection or tumor metastasis. If the swelling of lymph nodes is caused by inflammatory infection, that is, inflammation of lymph nodes, it is manifested by swelling, pain, and even redness and pus on the surface of lymph nodes. Oral antibiotics are needed for treatment, such as cefixime, levofloxacin hydrochloride, etc. The inflammation can all subside after a week of treatment. If the lymph nodes are swollen without pain, it may be caused by tumor metastasis, such as metastasis of lymph nodes in the neck from thyroid cancer in the neck or metastasis of lymph nodes in the armpit from breast cancer. If it is caused by tumor metastasis, radical tumor surgery is needed. It may also be caused by lymphoma, which may manifest as swollen lymph nodes in the neck, groin area and the whole body. Patients may have fever and other symptoms, and chemotherapy or radiotherapy will be required after the diagnosis is made.
