Domperidone and Mosapride are not recommended to be taken at the same time. Domperidone is a benzimidazole derivative that promotes gastrointestinal motility by antagonizing dopamine receptors in the gastrointestinal tract. It is used to treat nausea and vomiting caused by indigestion and reflux esophagitis. However, it may cause side effects such as headache, dizziness, allergy and muscle tremor. Mosapride is used to treat symptoms such as dyspepsia, nausea, and vomiting by stimulating faster gastrointestinal motility by promoting the release of acetylcholine. However, it may cause side effects such as diarrhea, abdominal pain, dry mouth, allergy, dizziness, liver and kidney damage. Domperidone and Mosapride are both drugs that promote gastrointestinal peristalsis, and if they are taken at the same time they belong to the duplication of medication and the side effects will increase, so it is not recommended to take them at the same time. It is recommended that patients must follow the doctor’s instructions to take medication treatment, do not take medication on their own.
