Loratadine capsule is an oral medication, 10mg once a day for patients under 12 years of age and weighing >30kg or over 12 years of age.The medication should not be used in children under 2 years of age. Loratadine Capsules is a tricyclic antihistamine that relieves the symptoms of allergic rhinitis, chronic urticaria and allergic skin diseases such as pruritus. Dry mouth, fatigue, drowsiness, headache, gastritis, nausea, rash, allergic reaction, alopecia, tachycardia, abnormal liver function, palpitations and so on can be observed after using the drug. Because antihistamines have an effect on the positive reaction of skin test, the drug should be stopped about 48 hours before doing skin test. And when this drug is combined with ketoconazole, theophylline, cimetidine and other drugs, it will increase the blood concentration of this drug, it is recommended to consult a professional doctor or pharmacist before use.
