How to treat frontal sinusitis

The sinuses are the cavities in the bones of the face that communicate with the nasal cavity, and the frontal sinuses are one of them, located in the forehead above the eyebrows. The mucous membrane of the sinus is connected to the nasal mucosa, so the mucous membrane of the nasal cavity is inflamed, and if left untreated, the mucous membrane of the sinus cavity is often affected and inflammation occurs. Frontal sinusitis can be divided into acute frontal sinusitis and chronic frontal sinusitis. Acute frontal sinusitis is an acute purulent sinusitis, which is an acute purulent infection of the sinus mucosa. Acute frontal sinusitis is not treated in time or improperly treated, so that the mucosa is severely damaged and loses its normal function, which can become chronic inflammation. The treatment of frontal sinusitis is as follows: 1, general therapy: adequate rest, drink more water, prohibit spicy and stimulating food, eat more fresh vegetables and fruits. 2, drug therapy: antibiotics as the main treatment, it is advisable to prefer and adequate use of penicillin antibiotics, such as allergies or resistance to the use of other broad-spectrum antibiotics. 3.In addition to systemic medication, nebulized inhalation, nasal mucosal vasoconstrictors and antibiotic drops, nasal replacement and local hot compresses and other physical therapy can be used. 4.When conservative treatment is ineffective, surgical treatment can be used. The best way to prevent sinusitis is to strengthen physical exercise, enhance physical fitness and strengthen the nasal cavity’s ability to withstand cold and disease.
