How to treat red hemangiomas in newborns

If red hemangioma appears in newborns, generally if the tumor is small, clinical observation can be considered within 2 weeks of age, because some newborns can disappear on their own after gradual increase in age. For red hemangiomas that cannot disappear, local surgical excision can be adopted, including red hemangiomas with clearer boundaries, and cosmetic suture can be performed after simple excision, and laser, liquid nitrogen, cryo-photodynamic methods can also be used to treat hemangiomas. This treatment is mainly for larger or more extensive red hemangiomas, and local injection of sclerosing agent, or the application of isotope dressing or X-ray irradiation can make the capillary hemangioma embolization tumor atrophy and achieve the purpose of complete cure. Parents can bring their children to dermatology and cosmetic surgery for treatment.
