Thyroid adenoma with liquefaction, how to treat it

The treatments for thyroid adenoma with liquefaction include general treatment and surgery.
General treatment: when thyroid adenoma with liquefaction, it may be some fluid stored in the adenoma itself, i.e. gelatin, and no special treatment is needed if there is no obvious symptom; or the liquefaction is caused by bleeding of thyroid adenoma, and the lump is not enlarged, and the fluid can be absorbed by itself, and no special treatment is needed; in the above case, regular rechecking can be done.
Surgery: If the thyroid adenoma is bleeding, timely surgery should be considered. Due to the enlargement of thyroid adenoma, it will lead to bleeding, and the huge amount of bleeding will lead to hemorrhagic shock, which will cause local pressure and different symptoms such as pain and dyspnea. If malignant mass with liquefaction is considered, surgical resection is recommended.
