How soon after egg retrieval is the best time to transplant

Normally, it is better to transfer fresh embryos within three to five days after egg retrieval. There is no optimal time to transfer frozen embryos or blastocysts, as they can be transferred regardless of the cycle, as long as they are well-conditioned. Usually, after the egg retrieval, the doctor will decide whether to transfer the embryos with a fresh cycle or with frozen embryos depending on the specific quality of the embryos and the patient’s physical condition. The success rate of embryo transfer has a lot to do with the quality of the embryos and the quality of the endometrium, but not so much with how long after the egg retrieval the transfer takes place. However, it should be noted that women need to undergo various tests before the transfer, such as checking the condition of the uterus and ovaries, the presence of ascites, the thickness of the endometrium and so on. In addition, women should take more rest after the transplant, don’t stay up late, and eat more nutritious food to keep their emotions stable and happy.
