What are the diagnostic criteria for diabetes mellitus during pregnancy and the control goals for diabetes mellitus during pregnancy

What are the diagnostic criteria for gestational diabetes and the goals for control of gestational diabetes? The standard diagnosis is an oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT) between 24 and 28 weeks of gestation. Gestational diabetes is diagnosed when one of the following three criteria is met: fasting 5.1 mmol/L, 1 hour after taking sugar: 100 mmol/L, 2 hours after taking sugar: 8.5 mmol/L. The goal of glycemic control in gestational diabetes is fasting 5.3 mmol/L, 1 hour after taking sugar: 7.8 mmol/L, 2 hours after taking sugar: 6.7 mmol/L. If the blood glucose does not reach the standard after diet and exercise treatment, insulin should be used early to control blood glucose to avoid increasing the occurrence of poor prognosis of pregnancy.
