How to deal with blisters from boiling water burns

Blisters from boiling water burns are often second-degree burns. As a first step, it is recommended that the scald needs to be flushed with plenty of cold water at the time to prevent the blisters from continuing to grow and increase in size. If there is a blister, the blister is not large, it is best not to break, in order to prevent contaminated material from staining the wound, causing inflammation and infection of the wound or the wound surface. In the second step, the wound can be disinfected with hydrogen peroxide or diluted iodine. Step 3, after disinfection, you can apply topical scald ointment, or anti-infection ointment on the wound, or above the wound. In the fourth step, most burns require wound dressing with sterile gauze. Before dressing the wound, it can be covered with a layer of petroleum jelly oil gauze. If the wound is not moist and painful, you generally do not need to change the dressing very often, you can change the dressing once every 2-3 days or so. If the blister is relatively large, the blister needs to be picked. Before picking it, make sure to strictly disinfect it. After picking, you can refer to the above steps to treat the wound, apply medicine and dressing.
