The handle of the sampling swab is usually made of polystyrene (or ABS) with a break point in the center, making it easy to break and put into a sealed bottle. The collection process needs to be careful that the part in contact with the hand cannot be retained in the sampling tube and must be discarded, otherwise it may affect the accuracy of nucleic acid detection.
