What is the meaning of round soft feedback shadow with size of 1.0cm at splenic hilar

Round soft tissue shadow at the splenic hilum measuring 1.0 cm may be due to parasplenic, splenic tumor, splenic abscess and other causes. 1. Parasplenic: refers to the presence of a spleen other than the normal spleen, which is similar in structure to the main spleen. Parasplenic tissue is usually located near the splenic hilum. The incidence of splenic tissue with some function is more than 10-30%. About 1/4 are located around the splenic vessels and the tail of the pancreas. It is dark purple spherical or hemispherical. The internal echogenicity is homogeneous, showing honeycomb manifestation, and the CT manifestation is round, round-like low-density lesions with clear borders. Lymphoma intra-splenic nodules and masses, showing round hypoechoic nodules and masses with clear boundaries. 3. splenic abscess: in the stage of abscess formation, it presents irregular, rounded echogenic area. cT examination can show rounded, oval well-defined hypodense area in the spleen, singly or multilaterally. The soft tissue shadow in the spleen should be seen by the doctor when necessary, combined with other laboratory tests to make a comprehensive judgment.
