Before blood donation, in order to ensure blood safety, collect qualified blood and guarantee blood quality, donors should undergo corresponding examinations before blood collection, as follows 1. Check the basic vital signs of the donor, including blood pressure, heart rate, respiration and body temperature; 2. Examine the donor’s skin mucosa, heart, cardiopulmonary function and abdomen; 3. In terms of blood testing, test the donor’s blood type and hemoglobin level; 4. Test for transmissible diseases, including hepatitis B, hepatitis C, syphilis and AIDS, for preliminary screening.
