Mingmu Di Huang Wan is composed of Chinese yam, ripened rhizome, poria, zejiao, cornelian cherry, peony bark, tribulus terrestris, chrysanthemum, wolfberry, angelica sinensis, white peony and so on. It has the effect of nourishing the kidney, nourishing the liver and brightening the eyes. It is mainly used for liver and kidney yin deficiency (deficiency of yin fluid in the liver and kidney), dry eyes, fear of light, blurred vision, and tears in the wind.
The adverse reactions of Mingmu Di Huang Wan are not clear. This product is contraindicated for those with red, congested whites of the eyes, photophobia, and excessive eye droppings that are associated with outbreaks of fire eye (i.e., infectious conjunctivitis, also known as red eye).
