When circumcision is performed for circumcision, the treatment of the tethered area is a very important part. The length of the surgical residual tether is about 0.8 cm, not too long and not too short. For patients with a short tether, a transverse incision is needed at the tether and longitudinal interrupted sutures with absorbable thread are used to extend the length of the tether. The blood supply to the ligament is rich and thorough hemostasis is very important during the surgery. In addition, the suture at the ligament should be aligned with the ventral midline as much as possible to avoid penile deviation, and the density of the suture should be increased appropriately to avoid postoperative penile erection and possible ligament splitting.
