Tertiary prevention of breast cancer

As one of the common malignant tumors in women, the incidence of breast cancer has been rapidly increasing in China in recent years, ranking first among all kinds of tumors in women and accounting for 7% to 10% of all kinds of malignant tumors in the whole body in China. Early diagnosis and early comprehensive treatment are the most effective means to prevent breast cancer.” Cancer can be prevented, and so is breast cancer. The prevention of breast cancer can be divided into three levels. Primary prevention: Up to now, the cause of breast cancer is not completely clear, but enhancing and sounding the immune function of the body is undoubtedly an active prevention method. Simply put, fitness is an important way to prevent the occurrence of breast cancer. Secondary prevention: early detection, early diagnosis and early treatment of breast cancer. Tertiary prevention: timely and effective treatment of detected breast cancer to reduce mortality and improve survival. Breast cancer “grows”: Breast cancer divides from one cell to two cells in different lengths of time, from 75 days to 1043 days. It takes an average of 10 years for a cancer cell to develop into a 0.2 cm nodule, and another 4-7 years to develop into a 1 cm nodule. It can be seen that it often takes 8-15 years to develop from a breast cancer cell to a 1 cm sized breast cancer nodule. Such a long period of time provides ample time for early detection of breast cancer. Although all women are at risk of breast cancer, if you insist on doing the above, you will be able to stay away from the threat of breast cancer and achieve the efficacy of early detection and early treatment.
