What a breast nodule looks like

Breast nodules are hard granules of different shapes and sizes growing in the breast, some of which are palpable, and are commonly seen in diseases such as breast hyperplasia and breast tumors. 1. Breast hyperplasia: Breast hyperplasia is a benign disease, manifested as striated, lumpy or cystic nodules in the breast, which usually changes with women’s menstrual cycle or recent emotions. 2. Breast tumor: it is divided into benign and malignant tumors. (1) Benign tumors include intraductal papilloma, mammary fibroadenoma and lobular tumor, etc. They can be single or multiple, and preferably occur in women of childbearing age, with tough nodules, clear borders, good mobility, and generally slow growth. (2) Malignant tumors include sarcoma, breast cancer, etc. Most of them are breast cancers, which preferably occur in middle-aged and old-aged women, with hard nodules, unclear borders, rough edges and relatively poor mobility. In addition, breast nodules may also be inflammatory nodules caused by mastitis, etc. After symptoms appear in the breast, it is necessary to consult a doctor in time for further examination.
