There is no such thing as the best half-summer for what ailments. Half-summer can be used to treat a wide range of conditions such as coughing and phlegm, damp phlegm and cold phlegm, vomiting and regurgitation, wind-phlegm and vertigo, and prune-core qi (which is similar to pharyngeal synesthesia).
Half-summer is used as medicine after the tuber is dried. Half-summer is pungent, warm and poisonous in nature, and has the effects of eliminating lumps and dispersing knots (eliminating lumps in the body), lowering the rebelliousness and stopping vomiting (stopping the upward flow of stomach qi, stopping vomiting), and drying dampness and resolving phlegm (expelling dampness and removing phlegm by drying dampness).
It can be used clinically to treat cough and phlegm, damp phlegm and cold phlegm, vomiting and regurgitation, wind-phlegm dizziness, prune nucleus qi, phlegm-drinking vertigo and palpitation (vertigo and palpitation due to phlegm-drinking and evil qi upward), phlegm-convulsive headache (headache caused by phlegm-evil obstructing qi), chest and epigastric plumping and tightness (feeling of distension and stuffiness in the chest and abdomen), and other conditions.
This product should not be used with Chuanwu, Prepared Chuanwu, Caowu, Prepared Caowu, Radix et Rhizoma Polygoni Multiflori; raw products should be taken internally with caution. The adverse reactions of Bianxia are not clear.
The drug needs to be used under the guidance of traditional Chinese medicine diagnosis, and should not be taken blindly on its own to avoid adverse consequences.
