Nosintrol, or sacubitril valsartan sodium tablets, has a half-life of 9 to 11 hours, so it needs to be taken once in the morning and once in the evening. Sacubitril valsartan sodium tablets are a combination of sacubitril and valsartan. The drug instruction states that after taking this product, it breaks down into sacubitril (metabolized to LBQ657) and valsartan, which have a plasma half-life of roughly 1.43 hours, 11.48 hours, and 9.90 hours, respectively, after taking the drug. Therefore this product needs to be taken again after 9 to 11 hours, once in the morning and once in the evening. Sacubitril valsartan sodium tablets are used in chronic heart failure (with reduced ejection fraction) to reduce the risk of cardiovascular death and hospitalization. Adverse reactions to this product include hypotension, renal impairment, angioedema, and hyperkalemia. The drug is contraindicated in people who are allergic to the product, in mid- to late-term pregnancy, and with severe hepatic impairment.
