Symptoms of infection with new crowns are categorized into light type, ordinary type, heavy type and critical type, and the clinical symptoms of each type of patients are different. 1. Mild type: patients only show low fever, dry cough, peripheral body aches, fatigue, etc., without the manifestation of pneumonia. 2. Ordinary type: patients have respiratory symptoms such as fever, cough, etc. Early imaging shows multiple small patchy shadows and interstitial changes, and there may be multiple ground glass images in both lungs. 3. Severe type: patients with severe type have symptoms such as shortness of breath, dyspnea, wheezing, cyanosis of lips, etc. Lung imaging shows significant progression of lesions >50% within 24~48 hours. 4. Critical type: Critical type refers to the emergence of respiratory failure, requiring mechanical ventilation, the patient may also appear difficult to correct metabolic acidosis and coagulation dysfunction and multi-organ failure. In addition to the above symptoms, multi-system changes such as changes in smell and taste, decreased appetite, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and abdominal pain may occur. Cases of new crown pneumonia must be isolated for treatment.
