Methods of Tumor Treatment

There are generally three types of tumor treatment methods: surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatment. The choice of surgery has certain feasibility and contraindications, such as the location and size of the tumor, as well as the relationship with the surrounding tissues, if the relationship with the surrounding tissues is close, the feasibility of surgery needs to be evaluated. If the tumor is closely related to the surrounding tissues, the feasibility of surgery needs to be evaluated. If the size and location of the tumor are closely related to the surrounding blood vessels, the risk of surgery is relatively higher. Therefore, whether the surgery can be performed or not is assessed by the surgeon to see if there are any contraindications and based on the patient’s physical condition and other comprehensive conditions. The post-operative treatment is based on the pathological type of the tumor, which determines the pathological stage and whether to proceed to chemotherapy or radiotherapy. The choice of chemotherapy is also based on the type of pathology, and the choice of program; the choice of radiotherapy is based on the postoperative pathology, the condition of lymph nodes, and the physical condition of the patient. All in all, tumor treatment methods should be evaluated comprehensively before selecting an effective treatment method that is suitable for each patient’s physique.
