Gastritis is a collective term for inflammation of the gastric mucosa. It is a common disease and can be categorized into two types: acute and chronic. Acute gastritis is common for simple and erosive two. The former manifests as epigastric discomfort, pain, anorexia and nausea, vomiting; the latter gastrointestinal bleeding as the main manifestation, with vomiting blood and black feces. Chronic gastritis is usually subdivided into superficial gastritis, atrophic gastritis and hypertrophic gastritis. Chronic gastritis has a prolonged course, most of the symptoms and signs are not obvious, usually only see after meals, fullness, acid, belching, irregular abdominal pain and other dyspeptic symptoms. Confirmation of the diagnosis depends mainly on gastroscopy and gastric mucosal biopsy. The disease is common in adults, and many causes can irritate the stomach, such as improper diet, viral and bacterial infections, and drug irritation may trigger the disease. Symptoms: 1. The clinical manifestations of acute gastritis often vary in severity, but the onset of the disease is acute; 2. In mild cases, there is only abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, dyspepsia; 3. In severe cases, there may be vomiting of blood, black feces, or even loss of water to concentrate the poison, as well as shock, etc.; 4. Chronic gastritis is characterized by general symptoms of epigastric discomfort and pain, nausea and vomiting, loss of appetite, fullness and bloating after meals, and regurgitation of acid and belching. Precautions: Patients often have vomiting, diarrhea and other symptoms in the acute stage. Due to high water loss, attention should be paid to replenish a large amount of liquid in the diet, which can be supplied with fluids such as fresh fruit juice, lotus root powder, rice soup, egg soup, etc., and a large amount of water should be consumed in order to alleviate dehydration and accelerate the excretion of toxins. When the condition is relieved, a semi-fluid diet with less dregs can be given, gradually transitioning to soft rice with less dregs. The content of the diet should be non-stimulating, less fiber, such as rice porridge, noodle soup, and can be used in moderation, such as dried buns. Supplement the right amount of protein to reduce the burden on the stomach and intestines, should eat small meals, 5-6 times a day meal is more appropriate.
